Turkey's Nurol Makina ve Sanayi AS has begun exploring a range of new versions of its recently developed 6×6 Ejder (Dragon) armoured wheeled vehicle (AWV). In its current form, Ejder is the first complete 6×6 armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) that the company has designed from scratch, although it has many years' experience in the design, development and production of major subsystems for tracked and wheeled AFVs, mostly for the home market.rnThe earlier RN-94 6×6 amphibious armoured personnel carrier (APC), developed in co-operation with Romania, was built in small numbers, but marketing has now ceased and all effort is being focused on the Ejder family of vehicles for both the home and export markets.
