USN to demonstrate capabilities that could free up topside space

The US Navy's (USN's) Office of Naval Research (ONR) will test a number of systems in the second half of 2014 designed to minimise the number of shipboard antenna, radar, and communications apertures and validate whether radio frequency (RF) functions can be consolidated.
