Israel's security agency, Shin Bet, and the foreign intelligence service Mossad have adopted new methods to deter violence and terrorism since January 2020, senior Israeli security sources claimed to Jane's in early April. These new methods have included directly contacting, often through the use of social media, those assessed as being involved in plotting terrorist attacks.
