IED attacks present terrorism threat in Hong Kong SAR

Between late January and 5 February, six improvised explosive device (IED) detonations were reported in Hong Kong SAR. The locations were mostly concentrated in Kowloon and New Territories and included public parks, government buildings, and border crossings such as Luohu railway station and a checkpoint in Shenzhen Bay.
