US Worldwide Threat Assessment highlights president-USIC differences

On 29 January, US Intelligence Community (USIC) leaders publicly presented the annual Worldwide Threat Assessment (WTA) to the Senate Intelligence Committee. The report, published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), reflects the collective judgements and insights of USIC concerning the most critical longer-term threats facing the US. The USIC testimony followed the 22 January release of the ODNI's National Intelligence Strategy (NIS), which will guide the 17 USIC agencies until 2023.
