Transitional power transfer likely following Zimbabwe security establishment's move against President Mugabe

The Zimbabwean security establishment during the night of 14-15 November moved against 93-year-old President Robert Mugabe in an effective palace coup. The military took control of state broadcaster Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation and mounted roadblocks and patrols around important government offices, courts, the parliament in Harare, and at the presidential palace.
