Nanjing picks FIDS for new terminal

The terminal being built at Nanjing Lukou International Airport will include more than 500 flight information display systems (FIDS) from Intersystems. The company, which established a subsidiary in China in May 2013, is supplying its scalable RapidFIDS solution. Intersystems expects the FIDS to be ready for testing by late September. The Nanjing project follows three other RapidFIDS installations in China. RapidFIDS consists of two host computers, multiple PC user workstations, a flight database, and a network of devices displaying up-to-date flight information.
