Frankfurt starts to build third terminal

Construction is under way on the new Terminal 3 (T3) at Frankfurt Airport. Costing EUR3.5 billion (USD3.9 billion) to EUR4 billion (USD4.5 billion), it is the largest investment Fraport has ever made at Frankfurt Airport. "Some 500 individual contracts are being awarded for a wide variety of tasks, which is benefiting a large number of small and mid-sized construction companies, including in the Frankfurt region," Fraport stated.
