The Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Committee TSC-4S-08, Traffic Circulation and Safety at School Sites, completed the informational report Survey of Traffic Circulation and Safety at School Sites. The report presents the responses from over 100 questionnaires sent to transportation engineers and planners in the mid-1990s. Responses were received from 20 states. Most of those responding were employed by city or county agencies; a few were state department of transportation employees.
