We have known Piero Salvini for more than thirty years and we always appreciated his serenity and rationality, now rare qualities and to which we are - unfortunately - becoming unaccustomed. This is how, dismayed, we remember him in this moment of pain for his death. He detested all forms of exaggeration, extremism, knowing that it only leads to transforming small and exclusive ideas into a supreme value. He had a particular eye for all things, he has always sought transparency and fairness in dealing with others, in work, in the company, firmly convinced that nothing is irrelevant, nothing is undeserving of attention.
