Rassegna crìtica delle tecniche di produzione di materiali compositi a matrice metallica

In questo lavoro sono sistematicamente presentate le diverse tecnologie produttive di materiali compositi a matrice metallica, con particolare riferimento a quelli a matrice in lega di alluminio. Partendo dalla suddivisione classica, tra metodi in liquido e in solido, tali tecnologie vengono descritte in termini di schematizzazione dei principi del processo, -caratteristiche principali dei compositi ottenibili, applicazioni industriali.%A manufacturing process for metal matrix composites (MMCs) has to reach the following targets: 1.incorporating or "producing" the reinforcement into the matrix; 2. achieving the more suitable distribution of the reinforcement; 3. avoiding mechanical damage or chemical degradation of the reinforcement; 4. producing a stable interface between matrix and reinforcement; 5. assuring the possibility of re-producing the material obtained; 6. minimising the costs of the final product.
