Cleaning efficiency of laundry detergents vs. washing machine parameters

The purpose of this study was to analyse washing performances and to find possible correlations between various technical parameters that characterized washing machines and their effectiveness upon a wash load. Being that the system of the study is quite complex the research was targeted at considering only the influence of parameters such as temperature, time, mechanical actions and water consumption. The results obtained show that among the parameters, the temperature and the real time of the total drum rotation play a role of major importance.%Scopo del presente lavoro era di analizzare le performance di lavaggio e trovare possibili correlazioni tra vari parametri tecnologici che caratterizzano le macchine lavatrici e la loro efficacia. Poiché la materia è molto complessa, si sono presi in considerazione alcuni parametri: temperatura, tempo, azione meccanica e consumo di acqua. I risultati ottenuti indicano che tra i vari parametri la temperatura ed il tempo reale di rotazione del tamburo hanno importanza determinante.
