Held in Brussels, Belgium, on 12 and 13 June 2003, The safety of work equipment - User oriented strategies for improving technical standards conference brought together interested parties from the many spheres related to work and working conditions, including from trade unions, from national occupational health and safety organizations, labour protection institutes, and national and regional standards institutes, to review and discuss the current practices, trends and perspectives to integrate users' experiences into the standardization process.
