IBM Rational Developer for Power Systems Software V8.0.3 Enhances Development Productivity

The latest version of Rational Devel oper for Power Systems Software offers integrated development environ ments for major development workloads on IBM i, AIX, and Linux, including RPG, COBOL, and DDS. Version 8.0.3 enhancements include secure connections to IBM i platforms; usability improve ments to the Screen Designer, Report Designer, and Remote Systems LPEX (Live Parsing Extensible Editor) func tions; a new fixed-term licensing option; and support for GNU C/C++ compiler, including a parser, compile result integra tion, and the ability to debug applications compiled using the GNU compiler.
