Surgical management of vaginal mesh erosion: an alternative to excision

Hypothesis and introduction Management of vaginal mesh erosion can be conservative, but in a large proportion of patients, excision/trimming of the mesh is needed. This paper describes a technique using an intervening vulval pad of fat graft between the vaginal epithelium and the mesh as an alternative to excision.
