Geodis is no takeover candidate

The French transport and logistics company Geodis, headquartered in Clichy, near Paris, is set to become one of the most important providers of transport and picking services for air and seafreight in Europe after its recent takeover of TNT Freight Management (see ITJ 47·48/2006, page 12). The Geodis management firmly denies recent rumours that the company might be sold to competitors Kuehne + Nagel or Norbert Dentressangle.
