An entire region with wind in its sails

A dynamic port complex is being created within a new outer harbour under construction at the port of Great Yarmouth (UK), which will serve a wide hinterland and help revitalise the whole region. A multipurpose port complex, which will include ro-ro, containers and offshore support, is being created within a new outer harbour under construction at the port of Great Yarmouth on the east coast of the UK, about an hour's journey north of Felixstowe. The GBP 50 million project will not only serve the UK hinterland but will also play a major role in the revitali-sation of the region - hence the GBP 18 million of public funding the project has attracted. It is now operating under the title of EastPort UK to reflect its intended wider appeal.
