Ceva Logistics reports good start to 2011

The Hoofddorp-based Dutch logistics and SCM specialist Ceva Logistics has reported further strong revenue and ebitda growth in the first quarter of 2011. The company entered 2011 in a strong position following the sequential improvements demonstrated in 2010. This momentum has continued, with revenue increasing by 13.3% over the prior year, from EUR 1.488 to 1.686 billion. The corporation's earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) continued to improve, at EUR 71 million for the period under review, an increase of 36.5% compared to the EUR 52 million attained in the same period in 2010. CEO John Pattullo said that he is «pleased with this result, which is also owed to restructuring that took place last year. It shows that we are well-positioned to face the future.»
