UASC and CSCL with ten ships on Asia-Middle East-Med route

The United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), based in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), and China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL), Shanghai, are set to reorganise their tonnage that serves the Asia-Mediterranean trade lane. From the second half of February, the shipping lines will deploy ten ships (instead of nine) in the AMC1/AMX1 sling. UASC will contribute seven 7,000 teu freighters and three 8,500 teu units will stem from the Chinese carrier.
