Norbert Dentressangle improves sales and profits

The French transport and logistics company Norbert Dentressangle augmented its revenues in H1/2012, reporting a figure of EUR 1.93 billion, up by 13% from the EUR 1.71 billion recorded in the like-for-like period last year. Sales declined by 0.2% if acquisitions made in 2011 are not taken into account, however. ND's operating profit grew by 9%, from EUR 59 to 64 million. The firm's transport division remains its strongest sales engine, generating an income of EUR 1.041 billion, followed by logistics (EUR 862 million) and forwarding (EUR 68 million).
