Atlantic Container Line (ACL), a US subsidiary of the Naples-based Italian Grimaldi Group, has now officially confirmed an order for five multipurpose ships that had been pending for approximately a year now. The contract for five multipurpose ships of an unprecedented kind, which in the meantime had been pending for about a year, went to China's state-owned Shang- from its own resources, with all vessels due for delivery in 2015.
