Innovative business idea bears initial fruit

Three leading Swiss managers have pooled their specialist experience to form an innovative holding company, in order to provide moral and practical support to the owners of small and medium-sized enterprises encountering difficulties with their succession planning. Apella Invest, which was launched in mid 2011 with its novel business model, can now point to its first practical successes. These were preceded by a thorough analy sis and sounding out of the target mar kets. The founding trio jokingly outlined its intensive preparation phase with the words «we have now defined our prey and calibrated our radar.»
