Vlissingen is the operations base

Vattenfall, a leading energy company and owner of the Dutch energy provider Nuon, has started building work on a large offshore wind farm. The electricity output will amount to a total of 288 MW. The first components have already been transported from the Bow terminal in Vlissingen. Construction work has begun on the giant DanTysk wind farm on the edge of a German-Danish economic zone, 70 km west of Sylt (Germany).
