New link to and from Portugal

Dunkirk and Portugal are now connected by more sailings. The short sea maritime operator MacAndrews, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, has chosen the French port as the centre of a new service to and from Portugal, calling at Dunkirk's Flanders terminal twice a week from the end of April. The service will provide a fixed-day export link to the port of Lisbon on Saturdays, with a sailing time of three days. The ships sail to Leixoes from there, reaching the latter hub in five days. The fixed-day return call arrives on Sundays. MacAndrews will deploy the 450 teu con-tainership Karin Schepers and the 515 teu Canopus J in the new link.
