More efficient processes

The German engine manufacturer MTU Aero Engines opened a logistics centre in Munich Allach at the end of November. With 5,600 sqm of floor space, the facility combines three departments: inbound goods, customs and foreign trade, and the goods receiving inspection department. This investment of about EUR 10 million will make the company's logistics processes more efficient, particularly with a view to the anticipated increase in production over the next few years.
