The rapid expansion of online commerce in China is leaving its mark on the country. The goods ordered and delivered in their millions are mostly packaged in a parcel and held together by adhesive tape. As the number of parcels is rising annually, the consumption of packaging material is also increasingly strongly. The recently established Cainiao Green Alliance Foundation plans to stem the tide.
