Since China accessed to WTO in December 2001, Chinese textile industry demonstrates unprecedented vigor. The fast growth trends appear in textiles, clothing, textile machinery imports and exports. According to the stipulations of WTO, the global textile quota will be cancelled from 1st January 2005. On the coming of back quota era, China will link to the world more closely in economic field of textile. Because of the cancellation of textile quota and the return of trading liberalism, China has the chance to enjoy the opportunity of cost deducing and market enlarging. While as the emergence of new textile international division and industry shift, Chinese textile industry will face greater challenge.
