De Smet builds corn to ethanol plant in Argentina

De Smet Engineers & Contractors (DSEC) is implementing the turnkey construction of a corn processing plant in Cordoba, Argentina for farmers' cooperative Asociacion de Cooperativas Argentinas (ACA) that will produce annually 120,000 metric tons of animal feed and 125 million liters of fuel ethanol.DSEC has already performed most of the engineering, and aims at starting the plant first half of 2014. The general contractor has established a local engineering branch available to serve the agro-industrial market in the region.
