In a field study in Konya Plain in Turkey in 2008-2009, sugar beet was drip irrigated at lateral spacing of 45 or 90 cm. The randomized split -block experimental design with three replications was applied. Three irrigation intervals (4, 8, and 12 days) and four irrigation levels ((a) k(cp)= 1.25, (b) k(cp) = 1.00, (c) k(cp)= 0.75, and (d) kcp= 0.50) were scheduled as main plots and subplots within the field experiments. Statistical evaluation of the experimental data showed significant statistical (p<0.01) effects of irrigation levels on crop yield. In addition, it was also estimated that under conditions of both tests the highest values of total seasonal consumptive use of 782 and 773 mm (first year) and 838 and 827 mm (second year) were determined in treatments containing an application of kcp= 1.25. According to an economic analysis the maximum net income could be obtained from the treatment including lateral spacing of 90 cm and irrigated at 8 days intervals with irrigation water amount calculated on the base of k(cp) = 1.25
