There has been significant combustor technology development by OEMs addressing fuel types, fuel flexibility, and mitigating greenhouse gases. Likewise, the overall development path for advanced industrial gas turbines has been with higher mass flow compressors, higher turbine inlet temperatures, new high temperature materials, tighter blade tip clearances, seals, and combustors with lower emissions.
