摘要

This article reviews methods of dynamic impact testing and proposes a new method for assessing the viscoelastic characteristics of vulcanisates. The work investigates the processes of impact interaction of a rigid indentor with specimens of different grades of vulcanisate. The results obtained were analysed in order to obtain sufficiently general expressions connecting the physicomechanical characteristics of the material and the parameters of movement of the indentor during impact tests for subsequent assessment of both the elastic and viscous properties of the materials. It is established that the elastic modulus and the viscosity coefficient determined by the dynamic indentation method are invariant in a wide range of deformation rates, which can be used in calculations to predict the reaction of a vulcanisate to an applied load, and in the design of mechanical rubber goods operating in a dynamic regime. 11 refs.
