European Capital Of Culture The Venue For Hydro8 Conference

The Hydrographic Society UK is organising and hosting the 16th European Hydro Conference - Hydro8 - in Liverpool, UK - the European Capital of Culture for 2008 - from 4-6 November 2008. The three-day conference and exhibition will take place at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel, situated just a three-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station, and ten minutes walk from the historic Albert Dock. Built in 1914 in the era of the Titanic, this grand hotel has recently undergone extensive refurbishments whilst retaining its original character.
