Seismic orders

Houston, USA-based seismic cable and umbilical designer and manufacturer Geocable Systems reports that it has received two of its most substantial orders to date. The orders come from France-headquartered pure-play geophysical company CGGVeritas, and include morernthan eight kilometres of airgun umbilicals for CGGV North America and CGGV Europe, plus 21 kilometres of lead-in cables for CGGV worldwide.rn"The products are to be used across all of CGGVeritas' fleet of seismic vessels," said a spokesperson for Geocable, adding: "Geocable Systems is excited at this new business relationship with CGGV and is looking forward to future deals the two companies will make."
