Bluefin Robotics, the USA-based designer and manufacturer of AUVs, has announced a regional partnership with Houston, USA-based subsea equipment provider Harvey-Lynch. Under the agreement Harvey-Lynch will promote and sell Bluefin products in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida with a focus on the Gulf of Mexico market. According to Bluefin, the agreement highlights the emergence and maturity of AUVs as a cost-effective and capable tool for use in subsea engineering projects.
