Sea-Bird Scientific, USA, reports the launch of the SeapHOx CTD+DO+pH sensor. The new instrument combines the Satlantic, Canada, SeaFET pH sensor with the Sea-Bird Electronics, USA, SBE 37SMP-ODO MicroCAT CTD+DO sensor. With the SeaFET's field-proven performance and the SBE 37's pumped flow path and multiple anti-fouling technologies, the integrated package enables scientists to improve deployment duration, providing reliable CTD and DO measurements, and integrate the collection of pH data with the critical oceanographic and biological measurements of temperature, salinity and oxygen, said a spokesman.
