Bibby Subsea, the Houston, USA-based division of Bibby Offshore, UK, has commissioned two HD work-class ROVs designed by FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics, USA. Capable of operating at depths of up to 3000 metres, the vehicles will be working in the Gulf of Mexico on Bibby Subsea's new Brandon Bordelon vessel. "The purpose-built, high-specification vessel provides a versatile and cost effective approach to a variety of operations," said a spokesman. "This paired with the technically advanced ROVs will bring efficiency and ease of operation to Bibby Subsea's Gulf of Mexico projects."
