EvoLogics presents the PingGuin - a novel AUV with low-drag bionic design

This summer, EvoLogics GmbH in Berlin, Germany, celebrated its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the team at EvoLogics announced the PingGuin, an autonomous underwater vehicle with low-drag bionic design. The vehicle has been developed as part of the MUM (Modifiable Underwater Mothership) collaborative R&D project and was first demonstrated in Kiel, Germany, in June 2020. The outstanding hydrodynamic properties of a penguin's body became the starting point for the AUV design within the NaviMUM sub-project, assigned to EvoLogics.
