This Multi-Science issue entitled "Geodesic Domes: Their geometry and how to use it" by Amila Y'Mech is devoted to a remarkable mission: to make accessible also to non-specialists the geometrical principles and the informatics tools for geodesic dome design. The book is completed by windows-executable "Formian" software. The reader is immediately absorbed by Y'Mech's enthusiasm and simple language and is in a short able to manipulate dome geometries, single and double layer ones, and to extract strut lengths to construct them.
