摘要

For this double issue, Christoph Gengnagel from UDK Berlin (Germany) is the guess editor. This special issue, with eight papers and two technical reports, focuses on actively bent structures, a very interesting topic with a lot of works in progress and also to be done. Special issues are successful and this publication policy will be kept for next volumes. Other special issues are indeed in preparation on themes such as plate folded structures or space wooden structures.
