摘要

In this paper, it is mathematically clarified by discussing the behavior of a nonlinear mapping that the extrapolation method described in the previous first report can be applied to numerical procedures for solving nonlinear equations. Guidelines for coping with nonlinear effects in extrapolating solutions of nonlinear equations are also presented. The coupled method is adopted as a numerical algorithm for incompress- ible flows because it is simple and its procedures can be efficiently parallelized.
