The title of this book was chosen with care. The book is intended to be about managing project uncertainty and not project risk management only. The author, a consultant with over 20 years of experience in project management, differentiates between project risks as the "known unknowns" susceptible to analysis and uncertainty as the "unknown unknowns" not susceptible to analysis.
