摘要

A meaningful comparison of the efficiency of photovoltaic systems using maximum power point tracking (MPPT) for different angles of incident is carried out. A Matlab/Simulink and a boost dc-dc converter were implemented and connected to the solar array system. The main results are presented for Perturb and Observe (P&Q) and the incremental conductance (IC) algorithms using a proportional-integral-derivative digital controller and Beta algorithm. We address the optimum MPPT technique for each particular angle of incident. The main purpose is to find the MPP using MPP tracking techniques. Efficiency and running time for different angles of incident were compared for various MPPT techniques. A new strategy was proposed that allows the system to choose the best algorithm to find the MPP depending on the value of the incident angle.
