The 32nd International Conference and Exposition on Advanced Ceramics, Composites, January 27-February 2, 2008, in Daytona Beach, Florida marks the sixth consecutive year for modellers, experimentalists, processors, testers, fabricators, manufacturers, managers, and simply ceramists to present and discuss the latest issues in ceramic armour. This annual meeting is organised and sponsored by The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) and the ACerS Engineering Ceramics Division, and is affectionately known as the Cocoa Beach conference because it has been held in Cocoa Beach, Florida since its inception.
