New Wireless Scanning Functionality for Desktop Scanner

Fujitsu introduced a new software update July 30 for its latest ScanSnap scanner, the iX500, giving customers the ability to wirelessly scan documents to a PC or Mac and expanding the capabilities of its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. ScanSnap iX500 customers already have the capability to scan directly to their Android and iOS compatible devices, and now have the freedom to "cut the cord" from their computer without losing any of the ScanSnap iX500's advanced scanning functionality, adding a whole new level of scanning convenience.
