In multi-hop inter-vehicle communicationsrn(MHIVC) for cognitive radio (CR), high mobility of vehiclesrncauses the situation change of the primary user (PU) near thernsecondary user (SU) and changes a link distance in a shortrntime. In this paper, in order to overcome these problems, wernpropose a joint routing and spectrum allocation utilizing thernPU information (e.g., position, channel, and transmit power)rnand vehicle mobility information (e.g., position, direction, andrnspeed) to predict the end-to-end delay time for sending requiredrnpackets. By using PU information, we predict a periodrnof SU’s available frequency according to SU’s mobility. Byrnusing SU’s mobility information, we predict the availablerntransmission data rate of each frequency. The proposed jointrnrouting and spectrum allocation is more likely to establishrnminimum delay time multi-hop paths for VANET. By usingrncomputer simulations, we confirm the effectiveness of thernproposed method in terms of end-to-end delay time.
