Collaboration Between Intelligence and Decisionmakers: The Israeli Perspective

Much has been written on the complex relationship between intelligence personnel and national-level decisionmakers. By the last quarter of the 20th century, with the founding of national intelligence establishments, pioneering efforts were made in the United States to formulate and regulate a doctrine for intelligence in the context of providing separation between national leadership and intelligence agencies.
