Prospects and challenges for African energy development

Future scenarios for energy development in Africa, as well as financial and administrative challenges to bernovercome, were key topics at the Africa Energy Forum, organized by Energynet Ltd (UK), which recentlyrntook place in Bordeaux, France. More emphasis was placed this year on renewable energy systems.rnAbout 450 delegates assembled from Europe, North America and Africa for discussions on future energy scenarios, including gas, bio-fuels and renewable energy systems for rural development.
