摘要

Roller compacted concrete (RCC) dams have become the most competitive dam type in the development and utilization of hydropower resources. In the design and construction of RCC dams, the analysis and control of project progress causes problems. However, it is difficult to solve this issue using physical model experiments. System simulation technology offers greater advantages including quantitative evidence and technical support for progress management and real-time planning. China's theoretical hydro potential is one of the largest in the world. However, its development rate is about 30 per cent of feasible potential, far below the world average level, (which is more than 60 per cent) of developed countries.
