Towards climate-resilient hydropower

Responding to a need for guidelines to support investment decisions for hydro schemes, in relation to the possible impacts on the schemes of climate change, the World Bank Group has recently conducted a study to limit risks in this area and to assist clients in understanding climate-related risks better. Methodologies have been identified for screening operations to address short- and long-term climate change and disaster risks.
