Retraction notice to 'Fabrication and characterization of non-platinum electrocatalyst for methanol oxidation in alkaline medium: Nickel nanoparticles modified carbon-ceramic electrode' [International Journal of Hydrogen Energy 36 (2011) 1913-1923]

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief as the authors have plagiarized part of a paper that had already appeared in Fuel Cells, Volume 9, Issue 5, 2009, p 579-587 DOI: 10.1002/fuce.200800122. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system.
